Is all the manga on Azuki legal?

Yes! Azuki licenses all of our manga from official publishers and pays royalties back to them based on how many chapters you read. By reading manga on Azuki, you’re ing creators, publishers, and localization staff!

Who owns Azuki?

Azuki was created by a small team of mostly ex-Crunchyroll staff. We’re an independent company, not owned by any big manga publishers or media companies, so every bit of you can give means the world to us!

Does Azuki have an app?

Of course. the app on iOS or Android to read the whole catalog on your phone or tablet.

Why do I have to pay for some chapters?

We make as much manga available via an Azuki hip as we can. However, some publishers only allow certain series or volumes to be distributed in subscription services like ours, and require others to be available only via direct purchase. Despite this, we want to make sure you can read these series to completion on Azuki, so we make volumes available for purchase. And if you’re a member, you get a discount on all volume purchases!

Why are some series incomplete?

Sometimes publishers that we work with discontinue the English releases for a series. Unfortunately we can’t control this, so you won’t be able to read additional chapters unless the publisher begins releasing it again. If there’s a series you really want to see more of, please let us know via our portal so we can notify the publisher! In the meantime you can add the series to your list (via the + My List button) to get notified if new chapters are released.

Are there complete series on Azuki?

Yes! The vast majority of series on Azuki are complete or up-to-date, and most of them can be read in their entirety via an Azuki hip.

When will my favorite series be available on Azuki?

We can’t make any promises since series availability depends on our licensing negotiations with publishers. However, if there’s a series you would like to see on Azuki, or a series you would like to see more of, feel free to let us know via our Discord server, or our social media s (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook)!

Additionally, one of the best things you can do to ensure Azuki’s catalog continues to grow is to subscribe to Azuki and read more manga on Azuki! The more that we can show publishers that fans are g up for subscriptions and reading manga, the easier it is to get new manga on the app.

What can I do to creators I like?

By subscribing to Azuki and reading series on Azuki, you’re already ing the creators, publishers, and localization staff. Azuki pays royalties to publishers based on (anonymized) readership, so specifically reading series by creators you like means contributing more to those creators and their publishers!
